According to VG and the Times of Israel, Simon's real name is Shimon Yehuda Hayu and he was born in Tel Aviv in 1990. He comes from a strict and conservative Jewish family.
Simon was first prosecuted in 2011. At the time, he was accused of stealing checks from some of the people he worked for.
He escaped through the Jordanian border on a fake passport and was transferred to Europe before being arrested by Israeli police. However, Israel sentenced him to 15 months in prison in his absence.
For many years no one knew them. But in 2015, he was arrested in Finland on fraud charges by three women. There he was sentenced to three years in prison.
